Qualifications

• Previous warehouse or material handling experience preferred.
• Forklift experience preferred (propane and electric).
• Ability to safely handle materials and perform physical duties.
• Dependable, safety-conscious and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to work the scheduled shift and overtime as needed.
• Background check and drug screen before starting.

Responsibilities

• Inspect shipments and verify documents for accurate customer information.
• Operate propane and electric forklifts to move materials and finished products.
• Perform start-of-shift forklift safety and maintenance inspections.
• Load semi-trucks and box trucks with finished products for delivery.
• Assist with inventory cycle counts as needed.
• Prepare, stage, and package materials and finished products.
• Collect and dispose of general waste and recyclables.
• Operate and maintain waste compactors and cardboard balers.
• Maintain department water supplies.
• Perform other general warehouse duties as assigned.
