Job summary

American Woodmark Corp. is seeking a Material Handler/Forklift Operator to safely move and store raw components and finished goods using stand-up and sit-down forklifts. The role requires adherence to SOX Compliance Standards and accurate inventory practices.

Responsibilities include operating forklifts safely, using RF-Smart Scan Gun, managing Rack ID locations, and maintaining housekeeping while ensuring production flow and inventory accuracy.

Qualifications

• Stand up forklift operator experience preferred.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds regularly.
• Experience with inventory systems and rack ID locations.

Responsibilities

• Operate a stand-up or sit-down forklift safely.
• Move and store raw components and finished goods.
• Complete daily inspections for PIT and use WIP/I-Warehouse apps.
• Read part numbers, carton information, and drawings.
• Maintain inventory accuracy and good housekeeping.
• Support continuous production flow with support teams.
