Job summary

Aerotek is hiring a Forklift Operator/Material Handler in Lansing, MI. This contract-to-hire role combines hands-on production work with material handling in an automotive environment, moving engines and materials through warehousing and shipping processes.

You will operate forklifts and other equipment while performing quality checks and supporting production flow. The position offers onsite work in Lansing, with weekly pay and a range of benefits that may include medical, dental, and a 401(k)

Qualifications

• Experience operating forklifts in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to perform quality checks and use hand tools.
• Familiarity with warehouse, shipping, and receiving processes.

Responsibilities

• Operate forklifts, tuggers, and cherry pickers to move engines and materials throughout the warehouse and production areas.
• Support warehousing, inventory, and shipping and receiving activities by staging, loading, and unloading engines and materials.
• Transport engines and related materials safely to designated areas for shipment to the manufacturing facility.
