Ryder System, Inc. is hiring a Permanent Stand-Up Forklift Operator in Minster, Ohio. You will operate stand-up forklifts, pick, pack, and load shipments in a clean, safety-focused warehouse environment with a consistent weekly pay schedule.

Flexible day shifts (Wed-Sat options), 44-55 hours per week, and opportunities for overtime. Benefits include medical/dental/vision, 401(k) with match, PTO starting month one, and a $1,000 sign-on bonus paid in installments.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• One year or more related warehouse experience preferred.
• Valid Forklift Operator's License certified.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as a member of a team.
• Ability to create and maintain professional relationships within all levels of the organization.
• Able to lift and push/pull up to 35 lbs.
• Must be punctual and have a good attendance record.

Responsibilities

• Perform warehouse functions including loading, picking, packing, shipping, receiving, forklift operation, and cycle counting.
• Maintain accuracy in picking/packing, auditing, tote induction, and loading/unloading trucks.
• Handle day-to-day warehouse paperwork (picking sheets, returns, bills of lading, etc.).
• Provide technical and maintenance support for automated packing systems during production hours.
• Perform duties within contract performance measurement guidelines.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Ryder is immediately hiring a Permanent Stand-Up Forklift Operator in Minster, Ohio

Warehouse Forklift Operator / Material Handler Positions Pay Weekly

Up to $26 per hour (including productivity incentives)

• Base pay: $23.00 per hour
• .50 increase after 6 mo and 1 year
• Overtime Pay: $34.50 per hour
• Additional Pay:
• Productivity Incentives: Eligible to earn up to an extra $10/hr
• Monthly attendance bonuses
• Sign-on bonus:
• $1,000 bonus paid in four installments at 30, 60, 90, 180 days

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• One (1) year or more related warehouse and/or powered industrial truck experience preferred
• Valid Forklift Operator's License certified
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as a member of a team

• Responsible for the accurate picking and packing, auditing, tote induction, staging of products and loading and unloading of trucks
• Responsible of dealing with day to day paperwork in a warehouse environment (i.e. picking sheets, returns, bills of lading, etc.)
• Provide technical and maintenance support for different aspects related to the automated packing system during the core shift hour of production
• Performing duties within performance measurement guidelines of the contract
• Performs other duties as assigned.
