Ryder Supply Chain Solutions in Minster, OH is hiring a Permanent Stand-Up Forklift Operator. You will perform warehouse tasks including loading, picking, packing, shipping, and cycle counting on a day shift with 44-55 hours per week.

Base pay starts at $23.00 per hour with a .50 raise after 6 months and after 1 year; OT up to $34.50 per hour, plus productivity incentives. Eligible for a $1,000 sign-on bonus, paid in installments, and benefits from day 30.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• One year or more related warehouse experience preferred.
• Valid Forklift Operator's License certified.

Responsibilities

• Perform warehouse duties: loading, picking, packing, shipping, receiving, forklift operation, and cycle counting.
• Adhere to contract performance guidelines and quality standards.
• Handle paperwork related to warehouse operations (picking sheets, returns, bills of lading).
• Provide maintenance support for automated packing systems during production hours.
• Undertake additional duties as assigned.

Ryder is immediately hiring a Permanent Stand-Up Forklift Operator in Minster, Ohio

Warehouse Forklift Operator / Material Handler Positions Pay Weekly

Up to $26 per hour (including productivity incentives)

• Base pay: $23.00 per hour
  • .50 increase after 6 mo and 1 year
  • Overtime Pay: $34.50 per hour
• Additional Pay:
  • Productivity Incentives: Eligible to earn up to an extra $10/hr
  • Monthly attendance bonuses
• Sign-on bonus:
  • $1,000 bonus paid in four installments at 30, 60, 90, 180 days

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• One (1) year or more related warehouse and/or powered industrial truck experience preferred
• Valid Forklift Operator's License certified
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as a member of a team
• Ability to be a team player and able to work within a diverse work environment

Responsibilities

• Perform warehouse function, which may include loading, picking, packing, shipping, receiving, forklift operation, and, cycle counting
• Performing duties within performance measurement guidelines of the contract
• Responsible for the accurate picking and packing, auditing, tote induction, staging of products and loading and unloading of trucks
• Responsible of dealing with day to day paperwork in a warehouse environment (i.e. picking sheets, returns, bills of lading, etc.)
• Provide technical and maintenance support for different aspects related to the automated packing system during the core shift hour of production
• Performing duties within performance measurement guidelines of the contract
• Performs other duties as assigned.
