Job summary

Ryder System, Inc. in Lansing, MI is seeking Warehouse Forklift Operators and Material Handlers. Positions offer weekly pay, benefits, and a safety-focused team culture in a fast-paced supply chain environment.

Shifts include Third Shift Sunday-Thursday 10:30pm-7:00am with overtime and occasional Fridays. Equipment includes sit-down forklifts and stand-up tugger; pay ranges from $18.72–$19.15 hourly with overtime pay and a $1 shift premium.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• 1+ year warehouse and/or powered industrial truck experience preferred.
• Valid Forklift Operator's License
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work independently and in a team
• Ability to lift/push/pull up to 35 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Perform warehouse functions including loading, picking, packing, shipping, receiving, forklift operation, and cycle counting.
• Operate within performance guidelines of the contract.
• Accurate picking/packing, auditing, tote induction, staging of products, and loading/unloading trucks.
• Handle day-to-day paperwork in a warehouse (picking sheets, returns, bills of lading).
• Provide maintenance support for automated packing systems during core shift hours.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Warehouse Forklift Operator / Driver Positions Pay Weekly

• Hourly Pay: $18.72 - $19.15 per hour
• Overtime Pay: $28.08 - $28.72 per hour
• Shift Premium: $1.00 when working Third Shift
• Schedule: Third Shift Sunday-Thursday 10:30pm-7:00am / Overtime and occasional Fridays as needed

Requirements
