Job summary

Wastequip in Albany, OR is seeking a Material Handler to move raw materials, parts and finished goods using a forklift and to support multiple departments in a fast-paced manufacturing setting.

The ideal candidate will have 1+ years forklift experience, be forklift certified, and maintain accurate records while following instructions under supervision. Safety, PPE and 5S standards are required daily.

Qualifications

• 1+ years forklift experience in a production environment.
• Ability to be forklift certified.
• Detail-oriented with accurate records.
• Ability to perform basic math operations.
• Ability to follow instructions under limited supervision.

Responsibilities

• Receive, verify and stock incoming raw materials.
• Supply production with materials and parts as required to meet production demands.
• Transfer finished goods to holding/loading areas.
• Perform safety inspections and simple routine maintenance to ensure tools remain safe and operational.
• Maintain a safe work environment and wear required PPE at all times.
• Ensure that workplace is maintained in accordance with 5S standards.
