Job summary

Ingram Content Group is seeking a warehouse associate to support stocking, loading, and unloading activities. The role requires operating a forklift and using a radio frequency scanner, with daily safety checklist duties and adherence to production standards.

The candidate should be able to work in a fast-paced warehouse, lift up to 50 lbs, and remain flexible for overtime and weekend shifts. A forklift certification and basic reading/writing skills are essential.

Responsibilities

  • Operate forklift and use RF scanner for stocking tasks.
  • Move stock as assigned.
  • Sign out forklift after daily safety checklist.
  • Report unsafe conditions to supervisor.
  • Stack product onto/off pallets repeatedly.
  • Load and unload trucks.

What You'll Do:

  • Operateforklift and use radio frequency scanner to perform stocking activities such as pull down or put away.
  • Movestock as assigned.
  • Signout forklift after completingdaily safety checklist.
  • Reportany unsafe conditions to the supervisor.
  • Stackproduct physically onto and off of pallets repetitively throughout the designated shift.
  • Load and unloadtrucks.
Qualifications

Essential Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Ability to successfully complete forklift certification process
  • Reading comprehension skills up to high school level
  • Writing skills up to high school level
  • Math skills – basic arithmetic, addition, subtraction
  • Ability to work safely and adhere to safety guidelines in a warehouse environment
  • Ability to perform repetitive manual tasks
  • Ability to work independently or in a group environment
  • Ability to be flexible/ multi-task based on workflow demands
  • Ability to meet and maintain production standards
  • Ability to maintain reasonably reliable attendance
  • Ability to read, write, speak, hear, see, think, communicate, concentrate, learn, andwork

Education and Experience

  • Certification as a forklift operator or ability to be certified
  • 1 year work experience in at least one previous job
  • 6 months work experience which included walking, standing, lifting/carrying, pushing/pulling, gripping/grasping, bending, squatting/kneeling, twisting/turning, climbing, crawling, reaching above shoulders, typing/keyboard

Essential Physical Demands

  • Ability to walk and stand continuously during the assigned shift
  • Ability to pass physical examination that includes testing for satisfactory vision (distance, peripheral, and depth perception) and hearing for safe operation of motorized equipment
  • Ability to elevate up to 25 feet in height on equipment
  • Ability to lift/carry in full range of motion up to 50lbs frequently during the assigned shift –.
  • Ability to push/pull in a warehouse environment up to 65lbs force to push during the assigned shift – 0-35lbs frequently and 36-75lbs occasionally
  • Ability to grip/grasp continuously during the assigned shift
  • Ability to bend, squat/kneel, twist/turn, climb, crawl, reach above shoulder, and type/keyboard frequently during the assigned shift
  • Ability to work designated shift including overtime as required, which could include time before or after the designated shift and/or weekends
  • Exposure to wide range of temperatures
