Ingram Content Group is hiring a Forklift Operator to start with our Operations (Stocking) team in La Vergne, TN. The role involves operating a forklift, using an RF scanner, moving stock, and loading/unloading trucks in a fast-paced warehouse environment.

Qualifications include a pre-employment drug/physical screen, certification or ability to obtain certification, and relevant experience. Benefits start on day one with comprehensive health options and PTO.

• 1 year work experience in at least one previous job.
• 6 months' work experience which included walking, standing, lifting/carrying, pushing/pulling, gripping/grasping, bending, squatting/kneeling, twisting/turning, climbing, crawling, reaching above shoulders, typing/keyboard.

Responsibilities

• Operate forklift and use radio frequency scanner to perform stocking activities such as pull down or put away.
• Move stock as assigned.
• Sign out forklift after completing daily safety checklist.
• Report any unsafe conditions to the supervisor.
• Stack product physically onto and off of pallets repetitively throughout the designated shift.
• Load and unload trucks.

Essential Physical Demands:

• Ability to walk and stand continuously during the assigned shift.
• Ability to pass physical examination that includes testing for satisfactory vision (distance, peripheral, and depth perception), hearing, and blood pressure/pulse exams for safe operation of motorized equipment.
• Ability to escape up to 25 feet in height on equipment.
• Ability to lift/carry in full range of motion up to 70lbs during the assigned shift - 30lbs or less continuously, 50lbs frequently, and 70lbs occasionally.
• Ability to push/pull in a warehouse environment up to 130lbs force to push during the assigned shift - 1-50lbs continuously, 51-70lbs occasionally, and 71-130lbs as needed for battery changes.
• Ability to grip/grasp continuously during the assigned shift.
• Ability to bend, squat/kneel, twist/turn, climb, crawl, reach above shoulder, and type/keyboard frequently during the assigned shift.
• Ability to work designated shift including overtime as required, which could include time before or after the designated shift and/or weekends.
• Exposure to wide range of temperatures
• Ability to successfully complete forklift certification process
