Job Title: Material Handling Lot Truck Driver/Forklift/Relief Receiver [PH]
Location: Monett plant, United States of America. Shift: Float
Responsibilities
- Transports inbound and outbound loads of finished products, bulk cheese, cheese drums and boxes and other necessary supplies or equipment to and from Monett plant lot and docks.
- Supports bulk cooler attendants with unloading process of bulk items.
- Supports shipping attendants with loading process of finished product.
- Performs safety and maintenance inspection of vehicle, reports problems and makes necessary arrangements for correction or repair.
- Keeps accurate records of trailers at the Monett facility, including lot checks.
- Coordinates trailer needs for each department.
- Completes any other duties as assigned by the Team Advisor/Team Leader.
- Maintains proper housekeeping in work area and sanitation of equipment while operating it.
- Works with leaders and fellow partners to ensure Food Safety and Partner safety.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or G.E.D.
- Must have a Class “A” CDL (General Knowledge and Air Brake Exam) and pass road test.
- Ability to pass an ICC physical every two years and a vision test every year.
- Ability to develop an excellent working relationship with personnel.
- General mechanical knowledge of a semi‑tractor to troubleshoot problem areas.
- Ability to perform all duties with minimal supervision.
- Ability to handle a moderate amount of paperwork.
- Ability to perform all duties of the Shipping and Bulk Attendant and relieve them as requested.
- Absenteeism rate of 65 points or less, commendable teamwork and overall job performance record, and no disciplinary action.
- English speaking/reading proficiency required.
- Experience driving semi‑tractor for two seasons (winter plus spring, summer or fall).
Physical Demands
Stand – 2 hours, Walk – 2 hours, Sit – 4 hours, Forklift use – 3 hours, Lift/carry up to 70 pounds – 1 hour.
Compensation
Production 02‑2A salary range: $23.58 – $27.77 per hour. 24‑month progression plan available.
