Job summary

SC Johnson & Son, Inc. seeks a full-time forklift operator to support loading and unloading at the Racine, WI facility. You will use a forklift, RF terminals and SAP to move inventory, while following safety standards and quality procedures.

This role requires flexibility for 2nd and 3rd shifts and overtime as needed. You will work in a fast-paced production environment, maintain accurate material flow records, and collaborate with team members to ensure timely deliveries and safe operations.

Qualifications

• Experience operating a forklift in a manufacturing environment.
• Basic math skills and ability to read instructions.
• Proficient with basic computer tasks including Outlook and Excel.
• Ability to follow written and verbal directions precisely.
• Background in shipping, receiving and material handling.
• Commitment to safety regulations and quality standards.
• Ability to multi-task and maintain accurate material flow records.
• Demonstrates sound judgement in a dynamic production setting.

Responsibilities

• Operate a forklift to load/unload materials to production lines and docks.
• Use RF terminal to ensure correct inventory movement in SAP.
• Operate various warehouse equipment and perform dock tasks.
• Scan products into SAP loading bins and manage loading processes.
• Maintain safe, clean work environment and follow SCJ policies.
• Collaborate with team and adapt to shift requirements and overtime.
