Job summary

Randstad USA in Romeoville, IL seeks a reliable Dock Associate for our fast-paced shipping and receiving team. You will operate PIT forklifts, stage and load outbound shipments, and audit freight for 100% load accuracy.

The role requires experience with Toyota Sit-Down and Raymond Stand-Up forklifts, RF scanners, and 8–10 hour shifts; safety, OSHA compliance, and 5S/7S standards are emphasized.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience operating both Toyota Sit-Down and Raymond Stand-Up forklifts.
• Strong basic math skills for auditing freight counts and load weights.
• Experience in high-volume warehouse shipping/receiving dock environment.
• Experience using handheld RF scanners for inventory tracking.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand/sit for 8-10 hours.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate Toyota Sit-Down and Raymond Stand-Up forklifts to move, stage, and load freight.
• Conduct audits of outbound loads against manifests, BOLs and order sheets.
• Load/unload trailers and inspect shipments for damage; verify piece counts.
• Use RF scanners to track inventory movements and update WMS.
• Adhere to OSHA safety protocols and 5S/7S warehouse standards.
