Job summary

Amcor is seeking a forklift operator in Lawrence, Kansas. Daily tasks include loading/unloading trailers, analyzing inventory, and staging finished products. The role requires following priorities set by the Front Line Leader and completing cycle counts, with weekend/overtime expectations.

This position offers starting pay of $20.50 per hour plus shift differential and opportunities for growth within a large packaging company with comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Valid Fork-lift permit (fork-lift training and permit will be provided).
• Meet physical requirements.
• Legible handwriting.
• Good math skills and basic computer skills.
• Able to follow instructions and work with minimal supervision.
• Good time management skills.
• Good communication skills / team oriented.
• Basic knowledge of inventory systems.

Responsibilities

• Communicate with your shift’s Front Line Leader concerning daily work priorities.
• Load and unload trailers in a safe manor.
• Complete cycle counts.
• Stage finished product.
• Pull orders from inventory and report inventory discrepancies.
• Work weekends and/or overtime as assigned.
• Complete all other duties as assigned.
