Job summary

Nysonian Inc. is seeking a dedicated Forklift Operator and Inventory Specialist to support safe warehouse operations near Las Vegas. You will move, load, unload, and stack goods while keeping precise stock records and ensuring proper storage.

This role requires a forklift certification or willingness to obtain one and an ability to lift up to 50 pounds. Ideal candidates will have experience in warehouse operations, basic computer skills, and a detail-oriented mindset.

Qualifications

• Basic computer skills; familiarity with inventory systems (e.g., Shiphero preferred).
• Strong attention to detail and organization.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• OSHA safety knowledge; distribution center experience is a plus.
• Able to work in a warehouse environment with physical demands.
• Military personnel encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

About The Role

The Forklift Operator and Inventory Specialist is responsible for safely operating forklifts and other warehouse equipment while maintaining accurate inventory records. This role supports efficient warehouse operations by handling materials, tracking stock levels, and ensuring proper storage and distribution of goods.

What You Will Do

• Safely operate forklifts and other material-handling equipment to move, load, unload, and stack goods
• Maintain accurate inventory records using Warehouse Management Systems (WMS)
• Conduct cycle counts and assist with full physical inventory audits
• Inspect incoming and outgoing shipments for accuracy, quality, and damage

Who You Are

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Valid forklift certification (or willingness to obtain)
• Proven experience in warehouse operations, inventory control, or logistics
• Basic computer skills with familiarity in inventory systems (e.g., Shiphero preferred)
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to lift and move heavy objects (up to 50 lbs)
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• Knowledge of safety regulations (OSHA standards preferred) and experience in shipping/receiving or distribution centers is a plus
• Comfortable working in a warehouse environment with physical demands, including standing, lifting, and operating heavy machinery
