Tyson Foods in Indianapolis, IN seeks a Forklift Operator to load, unload and process goods using stand-up forklifts in a cold environment. Orientation provides re‑training and certification. Roles are 12‑hour shifts with PPE and safety training provided.
Candidates should have forklift and warehousing experience, must pass health and drug screenings, and be able to stand for extended periods in a cold storage setting. Relocation assistance not offered.

This position is responsible for ensuring all products and materials are loaded, unloaded, and processed through the warehouse in a timely and accurate manner using a motor-powered forklift. Team members will be fully re‑trained and certified on forklift during orientation.
During your work shift, which will consist of (12) hours, you must be willing to move around the work area at a fast pace and willing to bend, squat, lift, push, pull, up to (40) pounds. As part of efficiently completing job tasks, a handheld scanner will be used to track products as it is loaded, unloaded, and moved around the facility. At certain times, other job duties may be part of the routine. Follow all Tyson Policies and Safety Guidelines.
Most of the time will be driving PIT including stand‑up forklifts and reach trucks for extended times in damp and cold environments with temperatures ranging from -5 to 30 degrees Fahrenheit. (Up to 12 hours). You will be provided a freezer suit, hearing protection, gloves, and headwear as part of your personal protective equipment (PPE). Team members will furnish their own boots and must wear either steel or composite toe boots that conform to ANSI 75lbs or more PSI rating with a slip resistant sole that covers the ankles. (Composite toe preferred). Team members will be driving stand‑up Crown PIT Forklifts and Reach Trucks. May be trained on Cherry picker for additional tasks. Standing or walking up to 100% of the time.
