Job summary

Mohawk Industries is seeking a warehouse associate in Dalton, GA to support roll handling and inventory flow. You will pull rolls, load them onto tables, and ensure correct placement in the warehouse to maintain efficient operations.

Responsibilities include locating rolls, moving cores, banding scrap and keeping the area organized. A lift truck license may be required; training and certification are provided by Mohawk as needed.

Qualifications

• 20/40 vision (corrected OK).
• Ability to read letters/numbers.
• Know colors / not color blind.
• Computer competency when locating rolls in the computer system.
• Lift truck driving aptitude and physical agility to mount/dismount lift truck multiple times daily as demonstrated in job tryout.
• Operate all types of lifts (squeeze, fork, and pole).
• If chosen for position, you will need to obtain Mohawk Lift Truck Certification (skill and information tests).

Responsibilities

• Pull rolls from warehouse to Reinspect area.
• Loading rolls onto table.
• Locate rolls coming off roll-up, back in correct location.
• Assist in picking up cores and placing in correct buggy.
• Assist in banding scrap and cores and removing to correct location.
