Job summary

RR Donnelley in Durham, NC is seeking a motivated forklift operator to move finished product, supply materials, and stage shipments on a 2-2-3 night schedule (6:45pm–7:00am).

You will operate equipment, maintain inventory, perform housekeeping, and adhere to safety policies while supporting the Production & Manufacturing department. The role offers benefits and a pay range of $18–$24 per hour.

Qualifications

• Experience operating forklift trucks in a manufacturing setting.
• Ability to read measurements and navigate storage areas.
• Knowledge of safety policies and hazard handling.

Responsibilities

• Operate equipment to move finished product for shipping or storage.
• Supply Manufacturing with materials as needed.
• Stage product for movement or shipment.
• Rack unused supplies and track inventory by type, amount and location.
• Transport and process manufacturing paper by‑products.
• Empty trash hoppers and perform housekeeping tasks.
• Perform daily checks on hoist and report maintenance needs.
• May service batteries – inspect, recharge, replace and lubricate components.
• May include LP/Propane changes.
• Follow safety policies and procedures.
• Perform other duties and participate in special projects.
• Available for 2-2-3 night shift, 6:45pm–7:00am.
