FedEx Supply Chain in Ogden, UT is seeking a Forklift Operator II to safely operate high-reach and other powered equipment for receipts, storage and order fulfillment. This non-exempt, day-shift position includes cargo handling, cycle counts, quality checks and adherence to OSHA safety rules, with pay at $20 per hour.

Applicants should have a high school diploma or equivalent and at least 1 year of experience with powered equipment; strong teamwork, communication and a customer-service mindset

Formación

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• 1+ years' experience with daily power equipment operations, minimum 6 months required.
• Must meet all PPE and fall protection requirements.
• Ability to operate powered complex material handling equipment including High Reach, Order Picker, Drexel/Turret Swing Mast, Clamp and Double Fork Truck.
• Not afraid of working on equipment at extended heights.
• Strong sense of urgency, attention to detail and coordination.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Customer service driven.
• Strong team player.

Responsabilidades

• Full case order picking for replenishment, customer orders and packaging components.
• Pallet retrieval and put away in narrow aisle bulk rack storage system.
• Quality control to ensure accuracy of all transactions.
• Use of wire guidance systems for navigating narrow aisles where applicable.
• Loading and unloading of pallets and cases from trucks and conveyor lines, by hand or equipment.
• Sorting, building and wrapping products with pallets to ensure compliance with customer expectations.
• Maintain accuracy of storage locations by performing daily cycle counts and routine inventory maintenance tasks.
• Adhering to strict OSHA safety rules.
• Other duties as assigned.
