Job summary

Penske Logistics is seeking warehouse associates to join our team in Las Vegas, NV. This role focuses on safe, efficient operation of material handling equipment and accurate order processing in a temperature-controlled facility.

You will handle RF scanning, packing, loading, and inventory tasks, with opportunities for overtime and benefits including PTO, medical, dental, vision, life insurance and a 401K. Come join a values-driven, safety-conscious team at Penske Logistics.

Qualifications

• No prior warehouse experience required but preferred.
• Standup Forklift, Reach Truck/ Order Picker & RF scanner experience preferred.
• Be a collaborative and team player.
• Proficient reading skills and ability to follow directions (English and Spanish preferred).
• Ability to work independently, customer service, dealing with others, multi-tasking, organizational and time management skills.
• Flexible to work overtime preferred.

Responsibilities

• Safely and efficiently operate multiple types of material handling equipment (MHE) including standup forklift, reach truck and order pickers and multiple attachments used with these equipment types
• Accurately match numbers & letters
• Attention to detail across multiple items, materials and products
• Accurately stage and sort products for loading
• Maintain a clean and safe work area
• Sorts and places parts in racks or other designated areas
• Stacks cardboard boxes and pallets
• Stack and secure picked product for shipping
• Select and process multiple orders at a time
• Move materials within the warehouse
• Able to systematically move and manage inventory accurately utilizing RF Scanner
• Complies with all safety requirements
• Electronically scan products using a warehouse management system
• Quality control
• Ensure damaged products are identified and removed when received
• Strong communication skills required across departments and shifts
• Attach identifying tags to containers
• Read work orders or receive instructions to determine assignments
• Other projects as assigned by supervisor
