Job summary

NFI Industries in FIFE, Washington, is seeking a Forklift Operator II to move, locate, relocate, stack, and count merchandise in a warehouse. You will operate multiple forklift types safely, support order filling, and help maintain inventory accuracy.

The schedule is Monday to Friday, 7:00 am–3:30 pm, with a comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, 401k, wellness, life insurance, PTO, and paid parental leave.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• 2+ years forklift operation experience and/or warehouse equipment experience.
• Must qualify and pass NFI forklift certification.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Effective customer service and basic math competencies.

Responsibilities

• Operates all material handling equipment safely and efficiently, following established work practices and safety procedures
• Possesses basic understanding of equipment safety and adheres to all safety protocols
• Completes and documents required pre-operation inspection forms for equipment
• Stacks and stores merchandise in designated rack locations
• Unloads inbound shipments safely and transports product to assigned storage locations
• Pulls, stages, and prepares products for outbound shipment
• Verifies that the correct quantity and product type are loaded and shipped
• Performs order picking in an accurate, timely, and customer-service-focused manner
• Moves product from staging or storage areas into trailers for outbound loads
• Maintains required documentation and reports to support inventory accuracy and product security
• Assists with physical inventory counts and periodic cycle counts as directed
• Ensures inventory is rotated in accordance with company standards
• Identifies and reports inventory discrepancies to the inventory control team and participates in resolution
• Uses RF scanning devices to support accurate inventory management
• Reports safety concerns, hazards, or incidents to management promptly
• Demonstrates basic Excel skills and general computer proficiency to complete required tasks
• Performs other duties and responsibilities as required by the role and determined by management
