Job summary

Dover Food Retail (DFR) is a Dover Corporation brand and a leading manufacturer of display cases and refrigeration systems. This Material Handler II, 3rd Shift, will support material flow, loading and unloading, and ERP-based material orders in South Chesterfield, VA.

The role requires forklift experience, ability to lift heavy items, and compliance with safety and quality standards. Excellent teamwork and physical stamina are essential for success in this warehouse environment.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• 1-2 years Forklift experience.

Responsibilities

• Reads orders and instructions to determine materials to move.
• Receives incoming materials; inspects and routes shipments; prepares paperwork for input.
• Arranges timely pickup by carrier as per purchase orders.
• Orders material from warehouse via ERP for production lines.
• Loads and unloads materials with forklift or by hand; secures shipments for transit.
• Operates forklift/electric hoist to move materials and ensure on-hand inventory.
