Job summary

Shaw Industries Group in Orlando, FL seeks a Forklift Operator II - 1st Shift to build custom orders and move merchandise between trailers and storage areas. The role operates on an 8-hour, non-rotating shift, Monday to Friday, 7:00 am–3:30 pm.

Starting wage is $21.96 per hour with potential progression to $22.79 after 90 days, along with comprehensive benefits including medical, dental, vision, 401(k) and paid vacation/sick leave. Equal opportunity employer.

Responsibilities

• Receiving a pull task with information on the hard surface material to be pulled and retrieving the correct material with a lift truck.
• Transporting a pallet by forklift to and from location.
• Complete paperwork as required.
• Wrap and band hard surface materials prepared on pallets.
• Prepare and package miscellaneous items in boxes for shipment.
• Tape and repair any damaged packages.
• Raise/Lower dock plate.
• Use orange cone system for full or empty trailers.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Manager

Forklift Operator II - 1st Shift

Position Overview: To build custom orders to fulfill order requests. Position also responsible for the transport of merchandise from trailers to storage locations and from storage areas to trailers for shipping. This position is located and works out of Orlando, FL.

Salary and Hours

$21.96 Per Hour LTO associates have the opportunity to progress at 90 days to $22.79 per hour. Monday - Friday 7:00 am to 3:30 pm (subject to change). Consistent year around work Professionally maintained, reliable, and safe equipment.

Essential Functions
