Overview

The Forklift Operator II is responsible for operating material handling equipment to move, locate, relocate, stack, and count merchandise. The operator ensures the safe and efficient operation of forklifts and may perform order filling or checking duties. This position requires operating multiple types of forklifts, including sit-down/standup, clamp, cherry, and reach trucks, with certification on at least three types of equipment.

Responsibilities

1. Stack and store merchandise using various forklifts, dedicating at least 50% of service time to equipment operation.
2. Unload inbound shipments safely and move products to storage.
3. Prepare products for shipment, ensuring accuracy.
4. Operate equipment safely and maintain records for inventory control.
5. Assist in physical inventories and cycle counts.
6. Report safety concerns and inventory discrepancies promptly.
7. Use RF scanning equipment and possess Excel and computer skills.

Qualifications

1. High School Diploma/GED preferred.
2. At least 1 year of forklift or warehouse equipment experience.
3. Ability to stand/walk for 10-12 hours and lift 50 lbs.
4. Ability to work in variable environments and extended hours.
5. Attention to detail, customer service skills, and basic math skills.

The starting hourly rate is $21.75, with eligibility for benefits including medical, dental, vision, 401k, and others.
