Job summary

UFP Industries, Inc. is seeking a Forklift Operator I to move materials between inventory and production and back, ensuring accurate paperwork and timely material delivery according to the schedule.

You will band and label goods, tidy yards, and assist with bottlenecks while performing routine equipment checks and safety practices to support production goals.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred but not required.
• Forklift driving experience preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Working knowledge of inventory techniques is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Move material between inventory, production, and finished goods areas.
• Band, wrap, and/or pack finished goods and label materials.
• Move finished goods from production to inventory yard or warehouse.
• Assist production with bottlenecks and material needs.
• Perform general equipment maintenance and pre-shift startup checklists.
• Keep yard organized and clean; adhere to forklift safety policies.
• Participate in safety and process improvement programs.

Job SummaryForklift Operator I is responsible for the movement of material from inventory to production and back to inventory. Maintains correct paperwork and production records as required.
