Job summary

UFP Industries, Inc. in Missouri seeks a Forklift Operator I to move material between inventory and production, maintain records, and support production schedules.

You will assist with bottlenecks, perform pre-shift checks, maintain clean yards, follow safety rules, and participate in continuous improvement programs.

Qualifications

• Forklift driving experience preferred but not required.
• Working knowledge of basic math and inventory techniques.
• Forklift Driver licensing or certification process may be required.

Responsibilities

• Move material in process from one station to another.
• Band, wrap and/or pack finished goods, label material.
• Move finished goods from production area to inventory yard or warehouse.
• Assist production with bottlenecks and other material needs.
• Perform general preventive maintenance on equipment.
• Complete pre-shift startup equipment checklist and report problems.
• Maintain organized and clean inventory yards.
• Follow forklift rules and company policies.
• Participate in safety and CI programs and meetings.
