Job summary

Kenco Logistics in Alabaster, AL is seeking a dependable Forklift Operator to safely move and manage product in a fast-paced distribution environment. You will load, unload, stack, and move materials, scan items, print labels, and complete paperwork in our inventory systems.

Daily responsibilities include rotation procedures, cycle counts, and safety inspections to ensure SQFI and FDA readiness. Ideal candidates have at least two years forklift experience, a valid forklift license or ability to

Qualifications

• Two years forklift operating experience.
• Must be licensed forklift operator or able to obtain license.
• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Pass Background and Drug screen.
• Basic computer skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate powered industrial equipment to move products for distribution.
• Load, unload, and store products and materials.
• Stack and transport materials to designated areas.
• Scan product and print labels.
• Complete paperwork and operate inventory management systems as needed.
• Ensure product rotation procedures are followed.
• Complete cycle counts as required.
• Perform daily safety inspections per forklift safety checklist.
• Report incidents to supervisor.
• May perform housekeeping duties.
