Job summary

NFI Industries is seeking a Forklift Operator I to safely move, stack, and locate merchandise within the warehouse. You will perform order picking, unload shipments, and ensure accuracy for inventory control.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• 6 months forklift operation experience preferred.
• Must qualify and pass NFI forklift certification.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Effective customer service skills and basic math competencies.

Responsibilities

• Operates material handling equipment safely and efficiently.
• Completes pre-operation inspection forms for equipment.
• Stacks and stores merchandise using forklift, clamp, or push-pull equipment.
• Unloads inbound shipments and moves product to storage locations.
• Picks orders accurately and in a timely manner.
• Moves product from staging to trailers for outbound loads.
• Maintains documentation to support inventory accuracy.
• Assists with inventory counts and cycle counts as directed.
• Uses RF scanning devices to support inventory management.
• Reports safety concerns or incidents promptly.
