Job summary

Mohawk Industries is a Fortune 500, global flooring leader seeking a dedicated forklift operator to move materials, load and unload pallets, and maintain equipment in a large manufacturing environment.

You will operate forklifts, record production data, and follow RF scanner instructions while adhering to safety protocols and daily housekeeping standards. Training and on-site supervision are provided to support ongoing operations.

Qualifications

Experience operating forklifts and material handling equipment.
Ability to perform routine maintenance tasks (cleaning, fueling, daily checks).
Capable of weighing materials and recording data accurately.
Familiar with RF scanners and following onboard RF unit instructions.
Willing to attend job-related training and follow SOPs.

Responsibilities

Operate a powered industrial truck to move materials between areas of the facility.
Load, unload, transport, and stack pallets, skids, and boxes as directed.
Perform routine maintenance: cleaning, fueling, daily equipment checks.
Record production data and weights; complete required paperwork.
Follow standard operating procedures and safety guidelines.
Attend training and support general housekeeping and duties as assigned.
