Job summary

The Forklift Operator I position at DiversiTech Corporation in Glendale, AZ is responsible for operating a seated forklift and moving materials between storage, staging areas, and loading docks to maintain smooth inventory flow.

Pre-shift safety checks, equipment sign-out, and proper labeling/documentation for each pallet are required, along with adherence to quality and safety standards in a manufacturing setting.

Qualifications

• 6 months–1 year of experience in warehouse, shipping, or manufacturing environment.
• Certification in forklift or complete training and certification exam upon hire.
• Experience working in a fast paced and high-volume work environment.
• Ability to multi-task and manage priorities in an efficient manner.
• Proactive “self-starter” with a strong attention to detail.
• Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written
• Valid Driver’s License with a clean driving record

Responsibilities

• Operate a seated industrial forklift and move items between storage locations, staging areas, loading docks, and trucks.
• Perform safety checks on components such as battery, brakes, lift controls and fire extinguisher before shift.
• Sign out equipment daily and report any malfunctions or incidents.
• Ensure proper equipment is used for each movement and prepare dock plates.
• Transport merchandise and verify labels and documentation for each pallet.
• Return equipment to charging station and prepare for overnight charging.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
