The Forklift Operator I at NFI Industries is responsible for operating material handling equipment to move, locate, relocate, stack, and count merchandise within the warehouse. The Operator ensures the safe and efficient use of forklifts and may also perform order filler or order checker duties as needed, while maintaining productivity, accuracy, and adherence to safety procedures.

1st and 2nd shifts are needed. Base Starting Pay Rate $19.00/hr.

Competenze

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Basic math and customer service skills required.
• Experience with forklift operations is a plus.

Mansioni

• Operates all material handling equipment safely and efficiently.
• Completes pre-operation inspection forms for equipment.
• Stacks and stores merchandise using forklift or related equipment.
• Unloads inbound shipments and moves product to storage locations.
• Pulls and prepares products for shipment according to requirements.
• Verifies correct quantity and product type shipped.
• Performs order picking accurately and timely.
• Maintains inventory accuracy and supports cycle counts.
• Reports safety concerns to management.
