Job summary

Oldcastle APG, Inc. in Tucson, AZ, is seeking a Forklift Operator / Line Puller to support transportation and production operations. You will operate materials-handling equipment, assist with loading/unloading, and maintain a clean, safe work area across shifts.

Applicants must pass pre-employment screening, have a high school diploma or equivalent, and be able to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for long periods. Safety training and lockout/tagout procedures are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Must pass pre-employment drug screening and background check.
• Ability to lift/move up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
• Must follow company safety procedures and attend weekly safety meetings.
• Must demonstrate lock out tag out procedures and keep key lock at all times.

Responsibilities

• Clean-up machinery and conveyors, maintain the surrounding area, and keep equipment free of debris during downtime.
• Operate equipment such as hoppers, bagging and sealer machines, forklift, palletizers, hydraulic equipment, powered tractors or vehicles, among others.
• Clean floors and pick up reusable scrap for salvage, transport trash and debris away from production areas.
• Operate a variety of hand tools.
• Assist in the loading/unloading of trucks.
• Maintain, verify, and count product inventory.
