Job summary

UFP Industries seeks a warehouse/forklift handler to move material, label and pack finished goods, and support production with material needs. You will maintain inventories and records while following safety policies. The role offers solid benefits and growth opportunities within a multi-site manufacturer.

Qualifications

• Minimum 9th grade basic education, High school diploma or GED preferred but not required.
• No minimum experience is required however forklift driving experience is preferred.
• Working knowledge of basic math and inventory techniques preferred.
• Successfully complete Forklift Driver licensing process.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Move material in process from one station to another.
• Band, wrap and/or pack finished goods, and label material.
• Move finished goods from production area to finished goods inventory yard or warehouse.
• Assist production with bottlenecks and other material needs.
• Provide general preventive maintenance on equipment.
• Complete pre-shift startup equipment checklist and report any problems or concerns.
• Maintain rough material and finished goods inventory yard organized and clean.
• Complete production records as required.
• Follow forklift rules and policies as described by Company policy.
• Participate in safety, CI and other programs and meetings.
• Perform other duties as required.
