Job summary

Pratt Industries, Inc. in Ohio is seeking a Forklift Operator to safely operate and care for the forklift in a fast-paced production environment, delivering stock and supporting manufacturing flow.

This full-time role requires overtime and some weekend work, offering growth potential within a hands-on team dedicated to safety, quality, and on-time deliveries. You will perform inspections, manage stock locations in the system, and help keep production schedules aligned with goals.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 6 months of sit-down forklift experience in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong desire to learn and grow in a state-of-the-art facility.

Responsibilities

• Operate forklift to deliver stock and remove finished goods from machines.
• Complete forklift inspection at start of each shift and report needed repairs.
• Maintain neat, safe stock stacks in storage areas.
• Document reporting accurately and timely.
• Maintain accurate stock locations using computer-based inventory system.
• Follow production schedule and suggest improvements to meet cost, quality, delivery and service goals.
• Comply with company policies and safety procedures and keep a clean workstation.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
