Job summary

Wenner Bakery, part of Europastry USA, seeks a motivated Forklift Operator 1 to join our growing team. This role drives battery-powered forklifts to move pallets, load and unload materials, and support warehouse operations in a fast-paced bakery environment.

Responsibilities include safety compliance, inventory recording, and cooperation with drivers and maintenance. In-house food safety training and SQF awareness are required.

Qualifications

• Safety regulations must be followed at all times.
• GMP regulations and OSHA/DOT requirements must be observed.
• Good working knowledge of SQF food safety code.

Responsibilities

• Operate battery-powered forklifts and related lifting equipment safely.
• Move pallets and materials, stack and transport to designated areas.
• Record inventory transactions on required sheets and pick slips.
• Inspect equipment, recharge batteries, and report issues to maintenance.
• Follow company policies and safety standards in daily tasks.
