Job summary

R+L Carriers, Lakeland, FL service center is seeking a Full-Time Forklift Operator to move freight safely in and out of 53’ trailers on a roofed dock. The role requires forklift experience and the ability to read manifests and interact with a computer display.

Shifts are Monday through Friday with starting pay of $22.82 per hour. After 90 days, you’ll earn one week of vacation and enjoy a comprehensive benefits package, including medical/dental/vision, 401(k) with company matching, paid vacation

Qualifications

• Must be able to bend, lift and stoop without difficulty.
• Ability to read manifests.
• Ability to read/interact with a computer display.
• Forklift experience.
• Dependable and able to work in a fast pace environment.
• Some LTL experiences.

Responsibilities

• Move freight safely in and out of enclosed trailers up to 53’ long.
• Operate a forklift on a roofed but non-climate-controlled dock.
