Job summary

R+L Carriers is seeking a full-time Forklift Operator at our Milton, FL service center. You will move freight safely in and out of 53’ trailers and operate a forklift on a covered dock. The role is Monday–Friday with various shifts and offers vacation after 90 days plus a comprehensive benefits package including resort lodging.

Starting pay is $20.70 per hour with opportunities to grow. The company emphasizes safety, reliability, and efficiency while supporting a team‑driven work environment

Qualifications

• Must be able to bend, lift and stoop without difficulty.
• Ability to read manifests.
• Ability to read/interact with a computer display.
• Forklift experience.
• Must be dependable and able to work in a fast pace environment.
• Previous forklift exp in a fast-paced environment.
• Some LTL experiences.

Responsibilities

• Move freight safely in and out of enclosed trailers up to 53’ long.
• Operate forklift on a roofed but non-climate-controlled dock.

R+L Carriers has an immediate need for Full-time Forklift Operators at our Milton, FL service center. As a Forklift Operator, you will be tasked with moving all different types of freight safely in and out of enclosed trailers up to 53’ long. You will be operating a forklift on a roofed but non-climate-controlled dock.

Requirements

• Must be able to bend, lift and stoop without difficulty
• Ability to read manifests
• Ability to read/interact with a computer display
• Forklift experience
• Must be dependable and able to work in a fast pace environment
• Previous forklift exp in a fast-paced environment
• Some LTL experiences
