Job summary

R+L Carriers is seeking a Full-Time Forklift Operator in Scott, LA. You will move freight in and out of enclosed trailers up to 53 feet, operate a forklift on a roofed dock, and read manifests and computer displays as part of daily duties.

The role offers starting pay of $19.64 per hour with PTO after 90 days, full benefits, and opportunities tied to our employee resort program. Shifts vary, but most openings are Monday through Friday.

Qualifications

• Must be able to bend, lift and stoop without difficulty.
• Ability to read manifests.
• Ability to read/interact with a computer display.
• Forklift experience.
• Must be dependable and able to work in a fast pace environment.
• Previous forklift exp in a fast-paced environment.
• Some LTL experiences.

Responsibilities

• Move freight safely in and out of enclosed trailers up to 53’ long.
• Operate a forklift on a roofed but non-climate-controlled dock.
• Read manifests and interact with computer displays as part of daily tasks.
