Job summary

Maersk Ground Freight (MGF) is seeking a Forklift Operator in Kentucky to load and unload materials, stage freight, and assist Drivers using a hand truck, reach truck, or forklift. You will maintain a clean, safe work environment and ensure loads match manifests.

Qualifications

• Experience operating a sit-down forklift is preferred.
• Ability to read and follow detailed instructions in a fast-paced environment.
• Commitment to safety and OSHA/TSA guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Using manifest to pull route, stage freight, and assist Drivers to load and unload trucks.
• Material handling tasks including picking, packing, scanning, and related duties.
• Ensure timeliness, packaging, and systems work is completed accurately.
• Identify and annotate overages, shortages, and damages (OS&D).
• Safely operate warehouse equipment such as forklift and pallet jacks.
• Read and follow detailed instructions in a fast-paced environment.
• Maintain a safe and secure work environment following all guidelines.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
