Job summary

Maersk Logistics & Services USA, Inc. in New Jersey seeks a Forklift Operator to load and unload cargo, stage freight, and assist drivers. You will perform material handling tasks such as picking, packing, scanning, and counting with attention to safety and efficiency.

The role requires operating forklifts, pallet jacks, and banding/shrink wrap equipment, reading work instructions, and maintaining a clean, compliant work environment. Overtime and weekend hours may be required.

Qualifications

• High School or equivalent required.
• 1 year warehouse experience preferred.
• Ability to operate forklifts, pallet jacks and banding/shrink wrap equipment.

Responsibilities

• Utilize manifest to pull route, stage freight, and assist drivers to load/unload trucks.
• Perform material handling tasks: picking, packing, scanning, kitting, counting as applicable.
• Ensure timeliness, proper packaging, and accurate systems.
• Identify overages, shortages, and damages (OS&D).
• Safely operate warehouse equipment including forklift and pallet jacks.
• Follow detailed instructions in a fast-paced environment and ensure TSA/OSHA compliance.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
