Job summary

Maersk is seeking a Forklift Operator to load and unload materials in a fast-paced warehouse in Folcroft, PA. You will operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and RF scanners, while maintaining safety and accuracy in handling loads and manifests.

The role requires occasional overtime and weekend work, with benefits starting on day one. Candidates must read and follow detailed instructions and work well in a team.

Qualifications

• Must be able to use forklifts, pallet jacks, and banding/shrink-wrap materials.
• Experience with RF scanning and loading/unloading procedures.
• Ability to read and follow work instructions accurately.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload materials safely using forklifts and pallet jacks.
• Maintain safe work area and comply with TSA and OSHA guidelines.
• Identify discrepancies between loads and manifests; report OS&D.
• Assist drivers in loading/unloading and prepare freight for routing.

We are looking for Forklift Operator!

Direct hire with benefits and PTO day1! The Forklift Operator is in charge of loading & unloading materials utilizing a hand truck, reach truck,or forklift. They are to maintain a clean and safe work environment and identify any discrepancies in receiving loads against manifest. Essential Functions: Utilizing manifest to pull route, stage freight, and assist Drivers in loading and unloading trucks Forklift experience Material handling may include one or more of the following: picking, packing, scanning, kitting (asapplicable), counting products, and other like dutiesmust ensure timeliness, packaging, and systems work is completed accurately. Identifying and annotating overages, shortages, and damages (OS&D) Safely operate warehouse equipment, such as forklifts, pallet jacks, etc. Read and follow detailed and defined instructions in a fast-paced environment. Ensure a safe and secure work environment, including all TSA and OSHA guidelines. Perform other duties as assigned.

Skills/Competencies:

Must be able to use forklifts, pallet jacks, and banding/shrink-wrap material Experience using an RF scan gun is required Previous forklift certifications preferred Must be able to work overtime as needed, occasional weekends Must be able to read and comprehend work instructions well Must have the ability to work well with others High attention to detail required Must have the ability to work well with others with little supervision Must be able to lift 50+ lbs. unassisted Must be able to speak, read, and write in English Experience: Previous warehouse experience preferred - 1 years experience This position requires standing and walking for extended periods of time. Position requires employees to frequently stoop, kneel, crouch, use hands, reach, bend and lift objects above their head. Employees must be able to regularly lift/move up to 50 pounds unassisted and use pallet jacks and forklifts.

Pay Range:

$19-$21 per hour *The above stated pay range is the anticipated starting salary range for the position. The Company may adjust this range in light of prevailing market conditions and other factors such as location. The Company will work directly with the selected candidate(s) on the final starting salary in accordance with all applicable laws.
