Job summary

Spherion Staffing, LLC in Mankato, MN seeks dependable Forklift Operators / Distribution Workers to move, stage, and load outdoor recreational equipment, marine accessories, and finished goods in a warehouse. This temporary role offers two shift options: Full-Time Day 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM at $18.00/hour and Part-Time Evening 4:00 PM – 9:00 PM at $24.50/hour.

Duties include operating sit-down/stand-up/reach forklifts, RF scanners, staging for manufacturing lines, picking, packing, and maintaining

Qualifications

• Minimum of 6 months verifiable forklift operating experience (sit-down, stand-up, or reach truck).
• Ability to pass in-house forklift safety assessment.
• Physical capability to lift, carry, and maneuver up to 50 lbs periodically throughout the shift.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, crouch, and operate machinery for the duration of the workday.
• Reliable attendance, punctuality, and a strong safety-first mindset.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate powered industrial equipment (sit-down, stand-up, or reach forklifts) to transport raw materials, boxed products, and palletized goods.
• Stage parts and sub-assemblies for manufacturing lines and pull finished products for outbound freight.
• Pick, pack, wrap, and label orders accurately using pick sheets or RF scanning devices.
• Conduct daily pre-operational equipment inspections, report maintenance concerns, and adhere strictly to facility safety protocols.
• Assist with physical inventory counts, aisle maintenance, cross-dock transfers, and general warehouse organization.

We are seeking dependable, safety-conscious Forklift Operators / Distribution Workers to join our warehouse and fulfillment team in Mankato. In this role, you will play an integral part in staging, moving, and loading outdoor recreational equipment, marine accessories, assembly parts, and finished consumer goods. This is a temporary position anticipated to last several months. We offer competitive hourly wages and two distinct shift options to fit your schedule.

Available Shifts & Compensation

• Full-Time Day Shift: Monday - Friday, 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM | $18.00 / hour
• Part-Time Evening Shift: Monday - Thursday, 4:00 PM - 9:00PM | $24.50 / hour

Responsibilities:
