Job summary

Diamond Pet Foods is seeking a Forklift Operator at our Frontenac facility in Kansas. This role handles loading and unloading finished goods, stacking, inventory logging, and material movement across the warehouse in a fast-paced production environment.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or GED and at least two years of forklift experience in manufacturing. Day shifts pay $19 per hour with a $2 night shift differential; overtime is available.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; Highly preferred two years forklift operation experience in manufacturing.

Responsibilities

• Load outbound finished goods and unload inbound materials.
• Operate conventional forklifts and related equipment.
• Identify and label materials per warehouse policies.
• Stage, transfer, stack, and store finished goods.
• Log inventory data for inbound/outbound orders.
• Perform picking of palletized orders and record data accurately.
• Rotate stock using FIFO and proper lot number identification.
• Receive inbound raw ingredients, packaging, pallets, and supplies.
• Maintain quality and unloading documentation.
• Ensure safety, PPE, and good manufacturing practices.
