Job summary

GXO Logistics, Inc. in Richmond is seeking a Forklift Operator to support our warehouse operations. You will operate forklifts and order pickers, use handheld scanners, load/unload trailers, and maintain a clean, safe work environment while following quality policies.

The role requires certification in powered industrial lift truck operation, flexibility for overtime, and at least a high school diploma or equivalent, plus warehouse experience and a collaborative mindset.

Qualifications

• To be trained and certified in the safe operation of powered industrial lift trucks.
• Availability to work a flexible schedule, including overtime when needed.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1 year of warehouse experience.
• A positive attitude and the ability to work well in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Operate powered industrial lift trucks and order pickers to push, pull, lift, stack or move product, equipment and materials.
• Use a handheld scanner with a high degree of accuracy.
• Load and unload trailers as needed.
• Adhere to the 7S program and maintain a clean environment at all times.
• Display a commitment to process excellence.
• Demonstrate an understanding of the Supply Chain quality policy.
• Perform inbound receiving processes.
• Completes other duties that may be assigned as required with consideration for quality, safety, and efficiency.
• Provides support for special projects or initiatives as directed by management.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including warehouse operations, procurement, and other support to fulfill inventory and logistics needs.
