Job summary

XPO Logistics, Inc. is seeking a Forklift Operator to join the dock team in Minnesota. You will efficiently sort, load, and unload freight, operate pallet jacks and forklifts, and secure cargo for transport.

The job requires standing on a non-climate-controlled dock and using handheld scanners. Ideal candidates have forklift experience in freight or LTL environments, strong attention to detail, and a willingness to work varied shifts including days, evenings, nights and weekends.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Able to do basic math calculations, with and without a calculator.
• Available to work a variety of shifts due to varying freight volumes, including days, evenings, nights and weekends.
• Forklift experience in freight/LTL environment preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and desire to succeed.

Responsibilities

• Efficiently sort, handle, load and unload palletized and non-palletized freight.
• Use appropriate motorized and manual equipment, including pallet jack and forklift.
• Secure freight inside trailers using appropriate tools and supplies.
• Work in a safe, efficient manner, adhering to company safety policies.
• Use mobile handheld devices to scan and track shipments.
• Work on a dock that is not climate-controlled for extended periods.
