Atterro in Austell, GA is hiring a Forklift Operator. The role pays $17.00 per hour with a 10:00 AM–6:30 PM schedule plus overtime. The position involves operating various forklifts, handling materials, and supporting inventory management.

Responsibilities include loading/unloading, palletizing, RF scanning, and maintaining accurate records while adhering to safety guidelines in a fast-paced warehouse environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Basic math, reading, and computer skills required for inventory tracking and documentation.
• Ability to understand safety procedures, shipping documents, and warehouse processes.

Responsibilities

• Operate sit-down forklifts, stand-up forklifts, reach trucks, cherry pickers, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment to safely move products and materials.
• Load and unload trailers, rail cars, and shipments while ensuring products are properly secured and transported.
• Build pallets, stack materials, shrink wrap products, and prepare orders for storage or shipment.
• Utilize RF scanning equipment to track inventory, document product movement, and maintain accurate records.
• Perform inventory control activities, including stock rotation, cycle counting, and verification of shipping and receiving paperwork.
• Conduct quality assurance checks, report damaged products or shortages, maintain a clean work area, and follow all company safety guidelines.
