Job summary

Fresh Del Monte Produce Inc. is seeking a Forklift Operator to safely move finished goods, materials, and packaging within our warehouse. You will work with inventory control, production, and maintenance teams to ensure safety, quality, and accuracy of shipments.

Responsibilities include operating forklifts and related equipment, loading and unloading trucks, maintaining clean work areas, and adhering to GMP and safety guidelines while supporting seasonal production needs.

Qualifications

• Ability to safely operate forklifts and powered industrial equipment.
• Basic math skills to verify counts and documentation.
• Ability to follow instructions with minimal supervision.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in handling and shipping.

Responsibilities

• Operate forklifts, clamp trucks, push-pull equipment and other warehouse machines.
• Load/unload finished goods and materials; move within warehouse and shipping areas.
• Inspect and maintain equipment; perform daily checks.
• Verify shipping docs, product IDs and load accuracy.
• Maintain inventory knowledge and warehouse layouts; support timely shipments.
• Maintain clean, organized, and safe work areas; report issues to leadership.
