Job summary

Express Employment Professionals - Cincinnati East is seeking qualified forklift operators to join our warehouse team in Rankin and Hinds counties. You will operate sit-down, stand-up, reach truck, and pallet jack to move, load, unload, and count merchandise, while prioritizing safety and productivity.

Candidates should have a high school diploma or GED, forklift certification or company-provided training, 2+ years of forklift experience, and the ability to lift 50–75 lbs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required or preferred.
• Valid forklift certification or company-provided training.
• Experience operating forklifts in a warehouse/manufacturing setting.

Responsibilities

• Operate forklifts (sit-down, stand-up, reach truck, pallet jack) to move, load, and unload materials.
• Transport pallets and products to designated warehouse locations.
• Stack and organize inventory safely and efficiently.
• Inspect forklifts before each shift and report issues.
• Load/unload trucks with accuracy to prevent damage.
• Pick and pull orders using work orders or RF scanner instructions.
• Maintain a clean, organized work area and follow housekeeping procedures.
• Perform basic forklift maintenance such as refueling/charging.
• Verify inventory by counting, labeling, and scanning items.
• Follow safety procedures and OSHA regulations; assist with general warehouse duties.
