Job summary

Peterson Farms Inc. is seeking a Full Time Manual Labor role in Miami, FL. The position involves moving, sorting, handling, stacking, staging, loading and unloading palletized freight with a forklift, and performing safety-compliant operations outdoors.

Responsibilities include daily equipment inspections, inventory paperwork, order picking, and maintaining a clean, organized work area while following GMP rules and reporting any issues to supervision.

Qualifications

• Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to work outdoors.
• Forklift driving experience preferred.
• High level of honesty, integrity, energy, and personal accountability.

Responsibilities

• Move, sort, handle, stack, stage, load and unload palletized freight using a forklift.
• Inspect equipment daily (forklift, pallet jack, hand tools).
• Open and close used and unused barrels & totes as needed.
• Complete inventory control paperwork for each load.
• Accurately complete all paperwork.
• Pick and stage orders.
• Identify, separate and unload orders in correct sequence.
• Communicate professionally with co-workers and drivers.
• Report product issues to the Production Supervisor.
• Maintain clean and organized facilities and equipment.
• Report equipment or facilities issues.
• Support safety and GMP compliance in daily operations.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
