Job summary

City Brewing Company in La Crosse, WI, has immediate opportunities for Forklift Operators in our warehouse department. This role moves product within a warehouse, loads/unloads pallets, and updates the warehouse management system.

You will operate a sit-down forklift, use a handheld scanner, ensure safety, and work shifts and overtime as needed to support a clean, organized operation while maintaining accurate inventory.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year forklift experience in a warehouse
• High school diploma, GED, HSED or relevant work experience
• Must be 18 years old
• Able to work autonomously in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work with diverse teammates
• Effective analytical, problem solving and organizational skills
• Able to work any shifts, weekends and overtime
• Must pass post-offer drug screen and background check

Responsibilities

• Operate sit-down forklift to load/unload pallets
• Use handheld scanner to verify correct products
• Inspect forklift and report issues
• Ensure loads are secured and compliant with safety rules
• Maintain warehouse organization and cleanliness
• Follow safety procedures and PPE requirements
• Communicate with coworkers, drivers, and supervisors
• Enter inventory accurately into the system
• Perform other duties as assigned
