Job summary

West Pharmaceutical Services in Williamsport, PA is seeking a Warehouse Associate to control the flow of products and materials to and from manufacturing areas. You will also ship, receive, label, and store items, while loading/unloading trucks and operating forklifts safely.

Responsibilities include stocking, cycle counts, 6S housekeeping, and ensuring FEFO/FIFO accuracy. A high school diploma or GED is required, with 6 months to 1 year in a fast-paced environment preferred; forklift experience

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 6 months to 1 year of manufacturing experience in a high-speed environment preferred.
• Prior knowledge of hand-held scanners or smartphones preferred.
• Forklift or heavy equipment experience preferred but not required.
• Able to perform simple mathematical calculations.
• Support Lean Sigma programs to meet targets.

Responsibilities

• Supply manufacturing areas with pallets, components and materials.
• Ensure timely and neat stock placement with FEFO/FIFO in mind.
• Rotate stock to maintain FEFO/FIFO standards.
• Maintain 6S guidelines and complete cleaning tasks.
• Perform cycle counts to ensure accurate stock levels.
• Pull, label, and prepare products for shipment; load/unload trucks.
